SAE: Raise a market steer for show
Description:
Beef production is one of the strongest agricultural industries in Georgia.  This project requires time, investment, and dedication.  Steers are usually purchased in the Spring or Summer and fed until the next February or March.  This project requires facilities and land for housing the animal as well as daily care of the animal.  There are several reputable sources for FFA market steer projects throughout the state of Georgia including sales and private treaty purchases directly from the producer.
