a service for the public is a large undertaking for a high school student.
The student would need to develop public relation skills as well as
be proficient in the area of wiring. This would be a wonderful opportunity
for a student to gain some real world experience in the area of self
employment and management. This would require the student to keep records
of income and expenditures as well as logging repair schedules for customers.
This project would allow students to make use of specialized electrical testing equipment, tools, and electrical equipment to provide a variety of electrical repair or installation services.

at a position until the skills and knowledge could be obtained to work
on their own. This type of project may require a considerable investment
in tools, equipment and a means of transportation. A student may need
special license and insurance, etc.
